Job Description

About Us :

Our mission is to provide compassionate and effective legal representation to individuals and families facing complex legal challenges. We are dedicated to guiding clients through the intricacies of Family and Immigration Law with personalized attention and unwavering advocacy. Our goal is to ensure clients' rights are protected and their voices are heard, both in and out of the courtroom. We strive to make a positive impact in our community by delivering justice and fostering a sense of security and well-being for those we serve.

In the realm of immigration, we understand the profound impact of not being able to work, drive, obtain a driver's license, or travel freely. These limitations can be incredibly restrictive. We are here to empower you to overcome these barriers and legally obtain these freedoms, helping you reach your next step with confidence and legal support.

Job Description:

As an immigration attorney, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of removal defense (EOIR), family-based, and humanitarian immigration cases. You will represent clients in their immigration court cases and appeals.

The ideal candidate is an individual who has courtroom experience, is vested in every case, is eager to learn, is creative, and is self-motivated. The ideal candidate will also have strong written and oral advocacy, effective caseload management, and excitement to be a member of a team breaking barriers on what a modern firm can be and should be.

Compensation:

$90,000 - $120,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Represent clients in immigration matters, including deportation defense, asylum, family-based immigration, and employment-based immigration.
  • Conducting legal research to support cases, drafting legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and motions, and providing written analyses of legal issues.
  • Prepare and file immigration petitions and applications.
  • Attend court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings as necessary.
  • Provide clients with clear and honest legal advice and keep them informed about the progress of their cases.
  • Meet with prospective clients to provide initial advice and assess their legal needs.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management and excellent client service.
  • Stay current on immigration laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Communicate with clients, prospective clients, government agents, and government officials in a clear, concise, and effective manner (both verbally and in writing)
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must hold a license to practice law granted by the highest court of any state.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in immigration law.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent courtroom and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of cases and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • Strong commitment to client service and upholding the firm’s core values.
