We are seeking a Horizontal Directional Drill Locator to join our team in Denver, CO . In this role you will operate drilling equipment to complete assigned projects and complete drilling in both standard and high-risk areas; with live utilities. Why TAK? The Role Operates drilling equipment to complete assigned projects Completes drilling in both standard and high-risk areas; with live utilities Maintains a working knowledge of utility depths and placements Ensures vehicles, equipment and tools are properly maintained, in good repair and secured in a safe manner Reviews field designs, communicating discrepancies to supervisor for change orders Properly documents all work completed to include pothole and bore logs Performs conduit splicing, vault/pedestal placement and fiber/coax placement as needed Completes general restoration and cleanup Completes all projects with safety as the #1 priority, ensuring compliance with internal safety standards and all governmental orders Other duties as assigned Requirements 3+ years of directional drilling experience required Ability to travel up to 90% regionally Ability to travel daily, work outside of business hours when needed, and overtime, including holidays, evenings, weekends, etc. Excellent customer service, time management, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills High level of energy, motivation and attention to detail Ability to multi-task, shifting from one task to another without interruption Ability to work with a noise level from moderate to loud Ability to lift and carry up to 70lbs as needed Ability to complete work outdoors, in tight spaces or elevated by bending, reaching, twisting, climbing in all weather conditions year round Ability to safely work and navigate various terrains, managing equipment, safety equipment and tools Valid driver’s license; Class A CDL required Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen) The compensation and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
