This position will be required to work out of our New Castle, DE warehouse; this is not a remote role.

In this role as Heavy Equipment Operator, you will:

• Operate front-end loader to move or transport materials such as dirt, gravel, sand, salt, snow or debris
• Prepare products for manufacturing process using heavy equipment, including loader, bobcat, or forklift.
• Follow Safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
• Load and unload materials safely, ensuring even weight distribution and proper handling
• Use equipment to stockpile raw products
• Inspect and fuel vehicle prior to beginning shift
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment daily
• Work prolonged periods of operating heavy machinery
• Work long periods including evenings and weekends when necessary
• Operate machinery in all weather conditions and terrains
• Lift 50 pounds at a time
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Job qualification requirements for this role:

• Extensive knowledge of heavy machinery operation and capabilities.
• Vocational school training or apprenticeship
• Ability to be flexible to support needs of manufacturing
• Excellent mechanical skills
• Ability to follow instructions
