Prime Healthcare of Illinois Medical Group is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionateAdvanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)to join ourGastroenterology teamatResurrection Medical Center. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to work within a high-performing, collaborative inpatient and outpatient GI practice at a leading Chicago-based hospital.

About Resurrection Medical CenterResurrection Medical Center is a part ofPrime Healthcareand serves the northwest side of Chicago. Known for clinical excellence, community outreach, and patient-centered care, the center provides advanced diagnostic and therapeutic options in multiple specialties, including a growing GI department.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive GI care alongside a multidisciplinary team of physicians and support staff.• Conduct initial assessments, follow-ups, and manage inpatient consults and outpatient follow-up visits.• Assist with procedures and ensure continuity of care.• Collaborate closely with attending gastroenterologists to optimize patient outcomes.• Participate in care coordination, documentation, and patient education.

Qualifications

•Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP)orPhysician Assistant (PA-C)licensed in Illinois.•Strongly preferred:1+ year of experience inGastroenterologyorinpatient medicine.• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.• Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive medical team.• EMR proficiency (experience with Epic is a plus).

Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $125,000-$140,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
