BGCBA seeks a skilled and mission-driven Fundraising & Development Consultant to support the organizations development goals. This part-time contract position will focus on cultivating donor relationships, organizing giving campaigns and events, and supporting fundraising strategies that help sustain and grow our youth programs. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement creative and mission-aligned fundraising strategies Cultivate and steward relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and foundations Coordinate donor communications, appeals, and acknowledgement processes Support planning and execution of fundraising campaigns and events Assist in donor data tracking and reporting using spreadsheets or CRM tools Collaborate with the Executive Director Board Chair and Resource Development Chair to develop and implement fundraising strategies Contribute to storytelling and messaging that highlights BGCBAs mission and impact Qualifications: 5+ years of nonprofit fundraising experience, preferably with youth-serving or community organizations Strong communication and relationship-building skills Proven success in donor engagement, campaign coordination, or sponsorship development Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Familiarity with donor databases or CRM tools is a plus Deep commitment to youth development and community engagement Preferred: Experience with grassroots fundraising and event planning Knowledge of Long Islands philanthropic landscape Boys & Girls Club of the Bellport Area
