More at Division: Air & Sea US Job Title: Freight Forwarder, Ocean Export Type: Full Time Summary The Ocean Export Freight Forwarder manages the export of goods via ocean, including carrier booking, cargo tracking, documentation, and communication with clients and third-party providers. Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and communication skills are essential to maintain customer satisfaction and efficient logistics operations. Responsibilities Coordinate ocean export shipments, including booking and transportation management Prepare and process customs documentation such as invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading Track shipments and update customers regularly Maintain and enhance customer relationships Collaborate with logistics, finance, and operations teams Ensure compliance with customs and trade laws Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Experience in freight forwarding or logistics preferred; ocean export experience highly desired Basic math skills for rate and cost calculations Skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Knowledge Understanding of ocean freight logistics and customs regulations Knowledge of trade laws; additional languages a plus Computer Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Experience with logistics software preferred Employment Type Employees are hired at-will, meaning employment can be terminated by either party at any time, barring specific state laws (e.g., Montana).
