*Job Overview*We are seeking a skilled Firewall Administrator to support and enhance our network security infrastructure. This role requires in-depth knowledge of firewall technologies, cybersecurity principles, and the ability to respond effectively to network threats and incidents.

*Technical Skills*
* Strong understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, subnetting)
* Experience with firewall technologies and architectures, including:
* Stateful inspection
* Next-generation firewalls (NGFW)
* Layer 7 (L7) filtering
* Proficiency with security protocols (IPSec, SSL/TLS)
* Skilled in using network monitoring and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark)
* Experience with intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS)
* Command line interface (CLI) proficiency
* Familiarity with log analysis and SIEM tools

*Security Knowledge*
* Solid understanding of core cybersecurity principles
* Awareness of threat intelligence, common attack vectors, and mitigation strategies
* Experience with risk assessment and vulnerability management
* Familiarity with incident response procedures and best practices

*Vendor-Specific Expertise*
* Palo Alto Networks
* Check Point
* VMware NSX-T
* Zscaler

*Soft Skills*
* Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Good time management and ability to prioritize tasks
* Self-motivated with a continuous learning mindset
* Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure during security incidents
* Collaborative team player with experience working across technical and non-technical teams

Pay: Up to $55.00 per hour
