Position Overview: The accounting analyst is responsible for the reconciliation and reporting functions related our portfolio management system, Alfa. In this role the analyst will perform daily and monthly reconciliation of Alfa system data to our SAP general ledger system. This process requires pulling large amounts of data from various sources into Excel and using intermediate Excel functions to organize and prepare the reconciliation. The analyst will also work to clear the identified differences in a timely manner. At month end, the analyst will perform journal entries necessary for IFRS compliance and prepare reports utilized to analyze and ensure the accuracy of month end reporting. The analyst will ensure that ICS standards are maintained. At times, ad hoc reporting and analysis is required.
Key Responsibilities: Daily and Monthly reconciliations
Clearing of reconciling items
Month end journal entries
Month end and ad-hoc analysis
Skills and Qualifications: Accounting background
Excel skills including use of pivot table, look up functions and sumif commands
Skilled in working with large data sets in Excel
Basic data query skills including MS Access

In person to be provided by current contract/employees
