We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabricator to join our team at Archer Meat Snacks. As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for assembling, constructing, and maintaining machinery, equipment, and systems used in food production. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of production lines and maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, assemble, and install equipment used in food manufacturing, including conveyors, processing machinery, and other food production-related equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine material requirements and equipment specifications.
• Operate welding, cutting, and grinding equipment to fabricate parts and components.
• Ensure all fabricated equipment meets safety standards and complies with industry regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on machines and equipment to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues promptly to ensure minimal disruption in production.
• Monitor the production process to ensure fabricated systems and machinery are functioning optimally.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance and ensure they meet the required standards and specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fabrication area to comply with food safety standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, production managers, and other team members to design and implement new equipment and process improvements.
• Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery or systems.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications in welding, metalworking, or mechanical fabrication are preferred.
• Proven experience with 3-5 years as a fabricator, preferably in the food industry or similar manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficient in welding, metalworking, and the use of hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of safety standards and food industry regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Physical stamina to handle lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in potentially noisy environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with stainless steel fabrication and handling food-grade materials.
• Familiarity with automation systems used in food production.
• Knowledge of CAD software for design and blueprint creation.

Working Conditions:

• The role may require flexibility in scheduling, including shifts, , including evenings, weekends, or holidays.
• Some work may involve exposure to high/low temperatures or machinery noise.
• Safety gear (e.g., gloves, goggles, hearing protection) must be worn at all times.
