About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to oversee the day-to-day operations of its local center, ensuring the effective delivery of services in the community. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the center's operational procedures, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, and leading a team to provide excellent customer service. Additionally, the Executive Director will work closely with the Development team to foster and manage donor relationships, contributing to local fundraising initiatives. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong background in program management and fundraising, including experience in a supervisory capacity. The Executive Director will also be expected to engage with the military and local business community, and to uphold the organization's mission of supporting the well-being of the community. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field, with at least 10 years of work experience in a relevant role, including a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory position. The ideal candidate will have a background in non-profit, military, multicultural, or global organizations, and possess a general knowledge of donor cultivation and solicitation strategies. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to work with integrity and professionalism in a variety of settings. The role demands a self-motivated individual with the ability to adapt to changing organizational needs, and proficiency in computer and electronic equipment. A passion for the company's mission and the ability to advocate for it is a must.
