Director - Food Safety & Quality Assurance Join to apply for the Director - Food Safety & Quality Assurance role at The Ziegenfelder Company . Responsibilities Research, develop, and implement strategies to meet and exceed standards, mitigate food safety risks, and ensure compliance with regulations. Provide technical expertise on food safety issues, share best practices, and support regulatory compliance. Promote a culture of food safety awareness across the organization. Lead Food Safety efforts across three facilities supporting company growth. Maintain standards for processes and performance. Implement and oversee food safety programs and regulatory requirements across all manufacturing facilities. Ensure all standards, processes, and protocols are properly established and consistently followed. Coach and develop team members, set performance expectations, and establish goals. Keep updated on relevant information, procedures, and technology to foster innovation and compliance. Review technical issues and procedures, and recommend improvements or changes.
