Job Overview

Renewal by Andersen of Idaho Falls is looking for experienced Sales Professionals for Door-to-Door Canvassing. Our Direct Marketing Associates work directly with Homeowners to generate Firm Appointment Leads for our Design Consultants to follow-up with a Homeowner-focused consultative selling experience.

As a Direct Marketing Associate, your success is measured by your ability to build rapport with Homeowners, delivering a superior homeowner experience and your drive for top results. You will be responsible for coordinating confirmed in-home consultations with homeowners to meet with our Design Consultants, answering customer process questions, and providing a brief introduction to the innovative products and services we offer, all of which contribute to the rewarding nature of this role.

Position Type: Both W2 and 1099 positions available. (W2 - Part-time, non-benefited, non-exempt, at-will position) or 1099 (W9)

Schedule: Part-time; 25 to 28 hours per week. Available working hours are between 10 am-9 pm, particularly evenings, Monday through Saturday. Holiday shifts as needed.

Pay: Potential earnings of $1000 to $3000+ bi-weekly, (includes a base pay and performance focused commission structure).

Responsibilities:

1. Attending Daily Team Meetings (Training & Sharing), for success feedback and area assignments.
2. Travelling to and covering assigned canvassing areas.
3. Gathering information about neighborhood window renovation activity, to use with future homeowners.
4. Building your presence as a valuable and honest contributor to homeowners in the neighborhood, driving homeowner recommendations.
5. Utilize training to generate leads using approved company methodology and scripting. Use scripting and best practices to lead a conversation.
6. Answer customer questions about goods or services; including product features and benefits.
7. Scheduling consultations for homeowners to meet with Design Consultants.
8. Recording and reporting daily canvassing activity, driving for performance improvement.
9. Organizing, planning, and prioritizing work.
10. Reliably navigate between cities and canvas locations.
11. Daily utilization of computers and other electronic devices.
12. Communicate precisely and accurately both verbally and in writing.
13. Establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships.
14. Communicating with persons inside and outside organization.
15. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. 18 years or older
2. High school diploma or equivalent
3. Reliable vehicle to commute to assigned work locations with current Auto Insurance and pass an MVR check.
4. Valid drivers license.
5. Reliable smartphone/data plan.
6. Ability to work evenings and weekends.
7. Clear background check.
8. Previous Canvassing/neighborhood marketing experience (preferred).
9. Previous Sales and Marketing experience (required).
10. Ability to communicate precisely and accurately both verbally and in writing.

Working Conditions:

1. Work primarily outdoors, canvassing and traveling between neighborhoods.
2. Work in varying weather conditions, including hot or cold temperatures.
3. Work in either very bright or very low light.
4. Work or be exposed to continuous sounds or noise levels.
5. Work with a group or as part of a team.
6. Work with physical stamina necessary to be both mobile and stationary for long periods, meeting and communicating with people.

Physical Requirements:

1. Able to be move for extended periods of time (4-8 hours), traversing work locations.
2. Able to traverse sidewalks, stairs, etc.
3. Able to alternate between stationary positions for extended periods of time (4-8 hours).
4. Able to converse, express, or exchange ideas by means of spoken word.
5. Able to discern, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds.
6. Able to seize, hold, grasp, turn, various product tools, marketing materials & equipment.
7. Able to transit to various work locations reliably as required.
8. Able to work indoors or outdoors.

Supplemental Information:

1. Sales Associates are expected to be outdoors, daily, in all types of varying weather conditions.
2. Sales Associates are expected to work varying shifts to include Saturdays and evenings.
3. Occasional travel is required and may include overnight stays.
