Job location: San Jose, CA (Onsite) Job Description Embedded software development with device drivers and Linux experience. Good in C coding and python. Embedded- device drivers and platform coding on IOS-XR Work in fast paced cross function organization. Expert level experience in C Programming and Embedded system Development. Lead and mentor the team on technical front. Design, develop and maintain high quality, state of the art embedded software. Timely resolution of security threats and alerts according to policy. Timely resolution of customer issues according to policy Scripting experience, especially Python is desirable. Work with the HW, platform, application sw, QA and technical support teams to ensure on time delivery of releases. Linux kernel knowledge is a plus Experience in device drivers is a plus Good to have: Experience in testing product functionality across the stack - from databases, platform services, to end user interfaces is a plus. Experience with distributed systems (databases, storage, map-reduce frameworks, etc.) is a plus.
