Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Office Manager to join our family and to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of dental office management, ensuring that our team delivers exceptional patient care while maintaining efficient office procedures. This role requires proficiency in both medical and financial management, as well as familiarity with dental software systems.

Duties

• Manage the overall operations of the dental office, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Supervise and train staff, including dental assistants, hygienists, and administrative personnel.
• Oversee patient scheduling, billing, and insurance claims processes to ensure smooth workflow.
• Implement effective financial management practices, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage electronic health records using systems such as Dentrix or eClinicalWorks.
• Coordinate human resources functions including hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and staff development.
• Ensure that the office is equipped with necessary supplies and that all equipment is maintained in good working order.
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a dental office management role or similar position within the healthcare sector.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures.
• Familiarity with practice management software such as Curve is highly desirable.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, staff, and vendors.
• Background in acute care or medical management is an advantage.
• Experience in financial management within a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Ability to lead a team while promoting a culture of excellence in patient care.
