As we continue to grow, we are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization, including this opportunity at NDX Albensi Laboratory in Irwin, PA for a Full-Time Dental Laboratory Technician I - (Removables Model Work)The regular hours for this position are from 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. These hours will be subject to change from time to time.This is a full-time position featuring employee benefits including: health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance; paid holiday, vacation, and sick time; 401K; and tuition reimbursement.Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist.Bead and Pour impressionsBase modelsTrim modelsSet bitesArticulate modelsPour and jig cases to be relinedMake duplicate modelsPushing and pulling cart of work around work area.Review final work and check completely that all quality standards have been met before passing the work to the next technician.Bite BlocksCustom TraysSimple Set-upsArticulationsMaintain a clean work areaAll other duties as assigned.Skills and Abilities Required:Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.Ability to complete assigned workload daily.Preparing (box and pour impression material, trim models, set and seal bites and articulate.Minimum Education and Experience Required:Preferred: High School diploma or GED.Demonstrated employment experience may be considered in lieu of education.Must have 12 months of experience as a Dental Laboratory Technician and is skilled in one or more of the tasks associated with a Removable Dental Laboratory Technician.Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:Laboratory equipment that may include: grinders, lathes, ovens, burners, steamers and boiling water.Physical Requirements:Requires sitting for long periods of time, uncommon posture when fabricating and continuous maneuvering of hands and fingers while working with small tools.
