Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Data Entry Specialist for a banking position. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining a variety of financial and customer data in the bank’s systems. You will play a key part in supporting daily operations, ensuring data integrity, and maintaining compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter customer, account, and transaction data into banking systems and internal databases.
  • Verify and cross-check information for accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify and report discrepancies or inconsistencies in data entries.
  • Assist with the digital filing and organization of documentation.
  • Maintain data confidentiality and adhere to information security protocols.
  • Perform regular audits of data to ensure quality control and compliance.
  • Communicate with internal departments to clarify and complete missing or unclear information.
  • Support administrative tasks and departmental projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bilingual in Both English and Spanish
  • 1–2 years of experience in a data entry, administrative, or clerical role preferred (experience in a banking or financial services environment is a plus).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word).
  • Strong typing skills (40+ WPM) with a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable navigating databases and internal systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
