Job Description

Title: Cyber Security Hartford, CT (Onsite) Cyber Security, Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing Role Overview The Attack Surface Management Analyst is a member of the Attack Surface Management (ASM) team and is responsible for analyzing and coordinating remediation of security findings from penetration tests and other cyber security assessments. The role involves frequent collaboration across all areas of the Information Technology department to provide guidance and track the remediation efforts. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze findings to identify impacted assets and assign remediation tasks to their corresponding owners.
• Provide support and guidance to remediation owners to ensure successful remediation of findings.
• Perform residual risk analysis of findings and provide recommendations for alternative remediation solutions and/or compensating controls to remediation owners.
• Monitor and track remediation progress and work with the ASM team to escalate potential SLA breaches.
• Collect, validate, and document remediation evidence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or equivalent certifications.
• 2-6 years working within the Cyber Security or Information Technology field.
• Solid understanding of core cyber security principles.
• Strong understanding of nd penetration testing concepts.
• Proficient communication skills to effectively collaborate with multiple teams
