Position: Customer Fulfillment Specialist

Location: St. Paul, MN

Temp to Hire

Pay: $22-25/hr

We are seeking a Customer Fulfillment Specialist to join our corporate headquarters team in St. Paul, MN. This role is essential in managing the end-to-end order fulfillment process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The individual in this position will serve as a key liaison between internal teams and external partners, troubleshooting order-related issues involving pricing, supply chain, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire order management cycle, ensuring timely and efficient processing while resolving any fulfillment challenges.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer order inquiries, providing updates and proactive communication to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including supply chain, logistics, and finance, to facilitate smooth and timely order completion.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for all orders, adhering to company procedures and ensuring compliance with document control standards.
  • Foster strong relationships with customer replenishment teams, prioritizing long-term partnerships and seamless order execution.
  • Support month-end sales processes by working closely with the finance department to ensure order closures are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Analyze order discrepancies, investigate shortages or overages, and coordinate resolutions with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or a related field OR 3 to 5 years of experience in account management, inside sales, or a similar customer-facing role.
  • Experience within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present and collaborate effectively across various levels of an organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze problems, develop solutions, and work cross-functionally to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
  • Proven experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and prioritizing effectively.
  • Self-driven, adaptable, and able to perform in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Strong negotiation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
