Overview

We are seeking a Creative Director with 8+ years of experience, ideally within the home, design, luxury, or fashion spaces, to shape and elevate our brand’s creative direction. Reporting to the Vice President of Brand & Creative, this individual will oversee a team of three, leading creative strategy and execution across campaigns, content, and sales collateral.

The Creative Director will be responsible for developing compelling brand narratives, enhancing visual storytelling, and supporting cross-functional teams as an internal creative agency. This role requires a leader who can balance business objectives with creative excellence, ensuring consistency and innovation in every touchpoint.

Essential Responsibilities:

Creative Strategy & Brand Leadership

  • Define and execute the creative vision, ensuring consistency across brand marketing, product marketing, and digital experiences with final alignment from the VP of Brand & Creative.
  • Lead the development of brand identity, campaign direction, and content strategy, ensuring all creative work aligns with business and brand goals.
  • Maintain and evolve the brand’s visual and verbal identity, ensuring it reflects luxury, craftsmanship, and innovation.
  • Translate high-level brand and marketing strategies into clear, inspiring creative briefs that drive innovative execution.
  • Partner with performance marketing teams to ensure creative assets enhance engagement, conversions, and brand impact.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and mentor a small but high-performing creative team, overseeing design, content, and brand storytelling.
  • Foster a collaborative, feedback-driven creative culture that encourages risk-taking, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities, ensuring the team stays ahead of industry trends and creative best practices.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Executive Presence

  • Present creative concepts and strategy to executive leadership, demonstrating a strong ability to connect creative vision with business impact.
  • Partner with marketing, product, digital, and sales teams to align creative execution with broader business initiatives.
  • Influence stakeholders by effectively communicating the role of creative in driving revenue and brand equity.

Digital Marketing & Performance Focus

  • Lead creative execution for paid media, organic social, and digital campaigns, optimizing engagement and conversion.
  • Stay ahead of digital trends, data-driven creative strategies, and emerging technologies to enhance brand performance.
  • Work closely with media and growth marketing teams to ensure creative outputs are ROI-focused and aligned with performance objectives.

Execution & Operational Excellence

  • Establish creative workflows, processes, and best practices to streamline execution across projects.
  • Ensure high standards of creative output, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.
  • Leverage data and insights to refine creative strategy, implementing a test-and-learn approach to improve results.

Skills & Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in creative leadership, preferably in home, fashion, or lifestyle industries.
  • Proven ability to lead small but agile teams, with experience managing brand content, design, and storytelling.
  • Strong foundation in graphic design, brand-building, and digital marketing.
  • Experience presenting to executive leadership and cross-functional teams, with excellent communication and persuasion skills.
  • High level of business acumen and emotional intelligence, with the ability to balance creative ambition with strategic goals.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented, and adaptable, able to pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Remaining in a seated position for long periods of time
