This position will also assist with financial analysis, process improvements, and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and post journal entries for various accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP. Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Support month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals and account analysis. Analyze financial information and summarize financial status for management reporting. Assist with external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries. Maintain fixed asset records and perform depreciation calculations. Participate in the development and documentation of business processes and accounting policies. Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the accounting function. Support budgeting and forecasting activities as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, HR, and finance, to resolve accounting-related issues. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA Required Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle). Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
