Job Title: CNC Operator

Job Description

The CNC Operator is responsible for preparing the machine to start the production cycle, loading and unloading raw materials, performing visual and dimensional inspections in accordance with company standards, and keeping records of conforming and nonconforming products. The role requires checking and maintaining machinery daily to ensure functionality and troubleshooting any issues that may arise during the shift.

Responsibilities

• Prepare machine to start the production cycle.
• Load and unload raw materials onto the machine.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections according to company standards.
• Keep records of conforming and nonconforming products.
• Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
• Troubleshoot issues that might occur during the shift.

Essential Skills

• Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement equipment such as calipers and micrometers.
• Understanding of production procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Adherence to health and safety regulations, including constant use of protective gear.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Technical degree is a plus.
• Experience with lathe, mill, and CNC machines.
• Proficiency in print reading is essential.
• Experience with Haas and machine shop tooling.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
