Clinical Informatics Template Specialist - North Tampa Join to apply for the Clinical Informatics Template Specialist - North Tampa role at Florida Orthopaedic Institute Position Summary The Clinical Informatics department is the central point of contact for all clinical application related incidents and service requests. The role of the Clinical Application Support Specialist is to create and revise all templates in Athena and work closely with Radix to build provider scheduling profiles. The Specialist will monitor clinical change request forms and handle requests promptly. They are responsible for resolving support requests related to the Radix Dash Central and Self platform. Key Responsibilities Create and revise all Provider and Diagnostic scheduling templates in Athena. Monitor all clinic change form requests and ensure timely handling. Build new templates, implement template changes, manage clinic cancellations and additions, and process freeze/unfreeze requests. Monitor monthly Template expiration reports and build templates up to the two-year limit. Meet with Providers to discuss template revisions. Provide information for creating new Provider profiles in Radix, including Provider Name, Athena ID, Specialty, Head shot, Chief complaint list, Insurance participation list, Appointment types, and Locations. Test all new provider data thoroughly before deployment. Coordinate with Scheduling Manager and Supervisor to ensure Provider schedules are ready prior to requests. Handle Dash Self Radix helpdesk requests efficiently and escalate to vendors as needed. Report Dash Self statistics to the Clinical Informatics Manager. Work with Radix development team and CSMs to create content and monitor scheduling programs. Maintain and develop Radix triage program in collaboration with the Scheduling Manager. Participate in Radix weekly meetings and contribute content. Create Policies, Procedures, and SOPs related to Clinic Change Requests, Template building, and Provider creation in Radix. Maintain excellent communication skills to interact effectively with technical and non-technical staff. Oversee creation and maintenance of Appointment Reminders and Communications in Radix. Manage changing priorities as a motivated team player. Create and maintain support documentation to assist staff and promote self-sufficiency. Attend training for professional development. Follow up with users to ensure issues are resolved. Inform management of recurring problems and stay updated on system changes. Perform additional duties as necessary without changing the level of responsibility. Qualifications Experience in a clinical application support role. Experience building and managing templates. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office. Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills. Excellent customer support skills. Effective time management and multitasking abilities. Effective communication skills for diverse audiences. Practical troubleshooting and problem analysis skills. Ability to plan and prioritize workload independently.
