Position Summary As the Chief Information Officer (CIO), you will serve as a key member of the strategic healthcare industry leadership team, collaborating with the CEO, a board of physicians, and other professionals to drive technology strategy and support organizational objectives. This hands-on leadership role combines technical expertise with strategic vision, requiring proficiency in designing and implementing clinical workflows, optimizing IT infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will also monitor, manage, and maintain the organization's IT systems while fostering productivity and growth among your team.
Key Chief Information Officer (CIO) Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
Develop and execute the organization's IT strategy, aligning technology initiatives with business objectives.
Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and the Board of Directors, providing data insights and strategic guidance.
Design and implement diverse clinical workflows spanning PACS, RIS, Worklist, DICOM, HL7, Voice Recognition Dictation, and VNA.
Plan and manage technology roadmaps, system design, and engineering projects.
Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering collaboration, professional growth, and compliance adherence.
Technical Oversight
Act as a hands-on leader in managing and optimizing IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.
Monitor and address IT infrastructure performance, meeting SLA, MTTD, and MTTR requirements.
Drive digital transformation initiatives and clinical/operational integration projects with external entities.
Research, evaluate, and implement cutting-edge security measures relevant to the organization.
Evaluate vendors and contracts, providing expert opinions on areas of impact.
Governance & Compliance
Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and security measures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Safeguard data through robust security practices, disaster recovery planning, and confidentiality adherence.
Manage IT budgets, interpret financial data, and ensure cost-efficiency alongside quality outcomes.
Communication & Collaboration
Deliver presentations to the CEO and Board of Directors, providing updates on IT strategies and project progress.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and a positive user experience.
Provide guidance on technology trends and best practices while continuously developing professionally.

Vendor management and Cisco Technologies expertise.
Advanced knowledge in Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server, wireless networking, Windows Server, Linux, and cloud computing platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure).
Proficiency in disaster recovery planning, storage area networks (SAN), and data integration standards (HL7, PACS, DICOM).
Education
Bachelor's degree in a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
Professional certifications are encouraged as applicable.
