Akkodis is seeking a Cell Leader – Mold Maker for a direct hire job with a client in Auburn Hills, MI. You will lead and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the tool build team. The shift will be Monday through Friday 7:00 am – 4:00 pm, with some overtime required.

Rate Range: $70,000/year to $75,000/year; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Cell Leader – Mold Maker job responsibilities include:

• Distribute work duties to personnel.

• Maintain inventories of shop materials and supplies.

• Encourage teamwork, quality, and efficient work habits.

• Builds/repairs molds through the plan, set up, and run of machine tool equipment.

• Uses precision measuring and gauging equipment, performing required inspection before, during, and after machining.

• Reads and interprets blueprints, utilizes CAD data for mold build.

• Familiar with a wide variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures within the trade.

• Fits and assembles molds and mold assemblies for production sample.

• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

• Will be required to lead and direct others.

Desired Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Minimum 5 years in Injection Molding and/or Automated assembly experience

• Minimum 5 years supervisory/leadership experience

• Experience in injection molding and assembly operations, plastics preferred.

• Automotive experience preferred.
