Rustic Elegance, Inc. is a high-end millwork shop and custom home builder located in Harwich, MA, on Cape Cod. We are a family-oriented company with flexible work hours, competitive pay rates and paid holidays. The Cabinet Finisher will work directly with the owner and management team assisting in all aspects of the day-to-day finishing operations of the company.

Job Description & Specific Duties:

• Prep, sand, prime and finish-coat cabinets that we custom build for bathrooms, kitchens, closets, and any other cabinetry needs for high-end homes
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area
• Ensure all occupational safety standards are adhered to
• Maintain daily timesheets, jobsite log, and misc. project paperwork as needed utilizing Buildertrend Project Management Software as well as other resources

Qualifications:

• Must have experience with hand spraying of water-based pre and post catalyzed finishes
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
• Minimum of 1 year Finishing experience
• HVLP, AA, Airless pump experience
• Catalyzed water-based coatings experience
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Must have a clean driving record to operate company vehicles
• Must be willing to travel to all work locations on Cape Cod
  • Note: Our work area is typically from Hyannis to Eastham
• Must be an organized, detail-oriented, team player, and be motivated with a can-do attitude with the ability to work independently
• Able to lift/carry at least 75 pounds and be able to climb ladders
• Ability to learn and apply newly acquired skills
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary to deliver the project on time is a plus.

Not required, but a plus:

• OSHA 10/30

Schedule:

• Full time, Monday through Friday, 7:30am 4:00pm
• Some overtime (nights & weekends) may be required

Benefits Package:

• Paid Holidays: New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving, the Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day
• Paid Time Off - 2 weeks (10 working days) vacation after six months of employment

Compensation:

• Up to $25 - $35 per hour, depending on experience

Educational Allowances:

• With prior approval, industry and/or job-related educational expenses may be reimbursed. Each request will be reviewed and approved on a case-by-case basis.
