Tallahassee State College is seeking a Biological Science Faculty member to join the Biological Science Division. Responsibilities include maintaining high academic standards, teaching current and relevant curriculum, communicating content effectively, and cultivating a learning environment. Duties involve providing syllabi, grading based on learning outcomes, teaching assigned classes, maintaining attendance and grade records, holding office hours, engaging in curriculum development and revision, participating in college and division service activities, advising students, and pursuing professional development. The candidate must have a minimum of a Master's degree in biology or a related biological science subfield or a related discipline with 18 or more graduate credit hours in biology or related subfield. Qualifying fields include Agriculture, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Biomedical research, Biophysics, Biotechnology, Botany, Cell biology, Conservation biology, Ecology, Environmental biology, Genetics, Marine biology, Microbiology, Molecular biology, Mycology, Neurobiology, Population biology, Physiology, or Zoology.
