Overall:

This is not a lab benchtop work position. It requires candidate's biochemistry research experience and eyesight to identify trending research topic, new products and vendors to launch new business for MSE Supplies. Great opportunity to use your technical knowledge to serve research community.

Responsibilities

• Developing new products and business areas by taking responsibilities across multiple functions, including new market research, new products and suppliers development, quality management, sales and marketing, supply chain and logistics
• Identifying new products and solutions to meet market needs and grow market share
• Winning customer acceptance of our products and solutions by communicating value propositions
• Generating market analysis reports
• Maintaining technical knowledge by attending educational seminars and conferences, researching and reading professional publications and online sources
• Business travels (less than 15%)

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum a college degree in a STEM major is required. Phd in Biology and Engineering major is preferred
• Bilingual in Chinese preferred
• 3+ years laboratory R&D experience preferred
• Experience in using Bio-lab supplies and lab equipment is required
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong ability to address multiple tasks simultaneously to manage projects effectively
• Organized and efficient. Details-oriented
• Ability to work under time constraints
• Strong interest in technology and willingness to learn about products and customer needs
• Self-motivated and trustworthy
• Entrepreneurial-minded
