The Role As a Barback at Chotto Matte, you’ll be the backbone of our bar operations — keeping the rhythm flowing so our bartenders can focus on crafting exceptional experiences. From stocking and prepping to ensuring every service runs smoothly, your energy and precision will help bring our signature nightlife to life. What You’ll Do Support bartenders by restocking, cleaning, and maintaining a well‑organized bar. Ensure all garnishes, glassware, and ingredients are prepped and ready for service. Assist with bar setup and breakdown — efficiency and attention to detail are key. Anticipate needs before they arise, keeping the bar running seamlessly throughout the night. Maintain cleanliness and uphold all health, sanitation, and safety standards. Bring positive energy and collaboration to every shift. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, move, and work with agility for extended periods. Comfortable lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive movements. Ability to handle a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment with ease. What We’re Looking For Previous barback or bar support experience in a fast‑paced, high‑end setting preferred. Strong teamwork skills and a proactive attitude. Reliable, detail‑oriented, and always one step ahead. Passionate about hospitality and eager to learn the art of mixology.
