*Role Overview*
We are seeking a versatile and motivated *Attorney* with experience in *both criminal defense and personal injury law*. The ideal candidate will be passionate about protecting clients’ rights in criminal proceedings while also effectively handling injury claims. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse caseload and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Represent clients in criminal proceedings (state and/or federal) and personal injury claims (car accidents, workplace injuries, premises liability, etc.)
* Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs
* Conduct client consultations, evaluate cases, and advise on legal options
* Develop strategies through legal research and case investigation
* Negotiate plea agreements and settlements with opposing counsel and insurers
* Represent clients at depositions, mediations, hearings, pre-trials, and trials
* Maintain strong client communication and manage expectations
* Collaborate with paralegals, assistants, and fellow attorneys to ensure effective case management
*Qualifications*
* Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
* Licensed and in good standing in Missouri and Kansas (IL, TX a plus)
* 3+ years of experience (criminal law and/or personal injury strongly preferred)
* Strong litigation, negotiation, and advocacy skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
* Ability to manage a high-volume and diverse caseload independently
* Commitment to client advocacy and ethical legal practice

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
