Overview

The Associate Global Merchant for Crocs Inc. supports the Global Merchandising Team to implement channel and category strategies for Crocs, the industry-leading casual footwear brand. The Associate Global Merchandiser maintains accurate seasonal product line information, and coordinates activities across a diverse set of functions in support of the Global Merchandising and Regional Merchandising teams. The Associate Global Merchant performs in the service of merchandising teams around the world to simplify tactical work and drive strong business strategies. The role has a broad view of the organization with access to many functions and can connect people and actions to ensure the product line can be delivered to market simply and accurately.

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for wholesale distribution globally, communicates with partners around the globe in support of regional needs for the wholesale channel with a focus on strategic partners.
  • Manages the SMU process across mainline and brand partnerships, from briefing with strategic partners and product teams to on time delivery to key programs.
  • Responsible for auditing and actioning sku level assortments across multiple seasons. Carries out assortment updates in assortment planning system, O9
  • Generates and analyzes global selling reports for their channels and categories of business. Identifies key insights and recommended actions to inform brand leadership.
  • Support the global merchandising team in the creation of global product catalogs as well as sell-in tools for regional merchandising and sales teams.
  • Support accurate product and line data records by partnering with Master Data Management, Product, and Development teams to ensure on-time material set-up, accuracy, and regular auditing. Lead the weekly add/change/drop process with product managers, development and operations. Document vital changes and ensure all items are followed up on for on-time delivery.
  • Support the global merchandising team with coordination of significant achievements meetings.
  • Supports product development process as a category (IE clogs, sandals) captain, in partnership with other global merchandising team members.
  • Strong ability to multitask. Manages numerous projects with competing deadlines.
  • Strong ability to articulate strategic intent cross-functionally to category management, planning, regional merchandising partners and sales teams.
  • Implement, document, and carry out key processes and calendars that involve diverse cross-functional partners
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Connects with cross-functional partners globally that have varying levels of English language proficiency.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience from college or university
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, create, and document process
  • Ability to think strategically and act tactically
  • Ability to work with others and keep others on track for deliverables and deadlines
  • Desire to learn about merchandising, product, sales and/or marketing
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Flexible working hours required to accommodate global partners and meetings in varying time zones
  • Can work well in ambiguity and fluid in shifting from project to project
  • Strong attention to detail. Ability to manage time and deliver accurate work,
  • Strong analytical and digital literacy including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word)

Salary or Pay Range: $55,000 - $65,000

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.

Your participation in this flexible schedule plays a key role in building a connected and successful team. In-office requirements vary by our work personas: Resident (5 days), Collaborator (4 days), Connector (2-3 days), Explorer (fully remote). This role has been aligned to the Collaborator persona.

This position is eligible to participate in a company incentive program.
