ASL (American Sign Language) Interpreter Hanna Interpreting Services LLC is a language service provider connecting bilingual and multilingual individuals with opportunities to serve as freelance interpreters or translators. Our mission is to bridge communication gaps through excellent and compassionate language services. We are hiring ASL (American Sign Language) Interpreters to work as freelance interpreters in a 1099 Independent Contractor role. As an interpreter, you contribute positively to society by supporting language access for everyone, regardless of English proficiency. You act as your own boss, setting your availability and accepting appointments based on your schedule. Appointments are available Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, but are not guaranteed and depend on need. Rates vary depending on availability, experience, and demand. Requirements Proficiency in ASL (American Sign Language) Willingness to complete an ASL assessment by a Certified ASL Professional (exceptions may be made with proven work history and certifications) Complete all required documents promptly Flexibility to work in different settings and adapt to various environments Must be located in and authorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship) High School Diploma or equivalent Application Process Submit your application and share your experience interpreting in professional or volunteer settings Our recruitment team will contact you for a preliminary interview If you meet baseline requirements, you'll complete a skills assessment and background check Qualified interpreters will be invited to join our linguist network after onboarding About Hanna Hanna is a woman- and minority-owned business committed to providing comprehensive language services.
