**Job#: 2088852****Job Description:**SummaryThe primary function of an Algorithm Developer is to design, develop, and implement algorithms primarily for machine learning applications. The developer will assess the effectiveness of these algorithms against requirements and ensure robust performance.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop and apply advanced methods, theories, and research techniques in machine learning algorithmsDesign, implement, and test machine learning models for a broad range of applications, including but not limited to classification, regression, clustering, and pattern recognition tasksPerform data engineering tasks, such as cleaning, processing, and organizing large datasets to support algorithm development and machine learning workflowsOrganize, track, and document machine learning experiment results, and systematically analyze these results to extract actionable insights that help guide future model development effortsIdentify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues found with software related to machine learning algorithmsImprove software performance and scalability in machine learning systemsSkillsStrong experience in building and using advanced machine learning algorithmsProficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as C#, C++, or equivalentExperience with machine learning toolkits and platforms (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)Ability to organize and interpret results from machine learning experiments and translate findings into practical improvementsAbility to manage projects autonomously and deliver resultsEducationBachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in a related field is a plus.Pursuant to the California Fair Chance Act, Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers, Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, and San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, qualified applicants will be considered for assignment with arrest and conviction records.
