The Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for managing the day to day collections for all customers with the highest level of efficiency. Below is a guide to selected duties for this position, but is not all-inclusive:

• Process and review incoming payments.
• Prepare and perform frequent AR reports and runs and forecast future collection schedule.
• Research and resolve account value discrepancies promptly with customers.
• Collections on past due accounts.
• Monitor incoming transactions daily to ensure AR system is up to date.
• Assist in receiving and tracking vendor/supplier preliminary notices and lien release requirements and submittals and releases.
• Perform credit checks and opening new customer accounts.
• Enter new customers into accounting system.
• Manage relations with customers' A/P departments via with high degree of professionalism and efficiency by email, phone and in-person if necessary.

Qualifications Qualified applicants for this position shall possess a minimum of 5+ years of direct experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably as the lead in a busy construction industry related company. Other Desired Key Traits:

• An ability to produce a high-volume output while maintaining an attention to detail.
• Strong personality.
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Proven ability to manage critical deadlines.
• Understanding of handling of sensitive and confidential information with a high level of discretion.
• Experience with accounting software, particularly SAP Business One
• Knowledgeable in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe based software skills.
• Active California Notary is a plus.
