Let Us Tell You About this Position:

Equity ECS is a full service commercial real estate firm. Our comprehensive platform includes development, construction, brokerage, and property management services that are tailored to provide solutions to each client’s needs. This role will be responsible for assisting with accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), treasury functions, and month-end closing activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to execute tasks accurately and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our finance and accounting operations.

Responsibilities/Execution:

Accounts Payable (AP):

• Assist in the reconciliation of accounting and construction systems, supporting senior accounting staff
• Scan and process invoices into PayScan
• Prepare and file monthly sales tax reports
• Handle vendor payment inquiries and resolve discrepancies
• Process incoming mail related to accounting matters

Accounts Receivable (AR):

• Perform data entry for accounts receivable in Yardi

Treasury Functions:

• Reconcile bank statements
• Completing special projects as needed

Education & Certifications

• Accounting degree is a plus but not required
• Minimum of one year of accounting experience
• Proficiency with Excel required
• Familiarity with YARDI and/or Procore preferred
